Dancing With the Stars’ Movie Night Doesn’t Give One of Its Couples a Hollywood Happy Ending
Paul Walker would have been proud of Furious 7, his final film, says his brother, Cody Walker.
The 26-year-old made his comments in a recent interview with E! News. He and Paul’s other brother, Caleb Walker, 37, worked as stand-ins and body doubles for the actor in the movie. which was still in production when the actor died at age 40 in a car crash on Nov. 30, 2013.
“Of course [he’d be proud]. It’s the best one yet, there’s no doubt,” Cody told E! News’ Ali Fedotowsky, regarding the film. “It was a bit of a rollercoaster being part of that, but I got to do it with Caleb…that made it an easier process.”

Paul had formed strong friendships with many of his cast members, with whom he had worked for years. Main star Vin Diesel has referred to actor as his “brother” and even named his newborn daughter Paulina, in his honor.
“It wasn’t just any film that Paul had been working on,” Cody told E! News. “This was a Fast & Furious movie. Everyone that was involved had been involved for years.”

Cody, who bears a strong resemblance to the blue-eyed actor, also spoke about how his family has been coping with their tragic loss over the past year and a half.
“Things have gotten better,” Cody told E! News. “Time certainly helps but we’re still recovering.”

Paul walker is NOT dead +Proof…[VIDEO]

On November 30, 2013, Fast & Furious star Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas died when the Porsche Carrera GT they were driving crashed into a tree. However, whether from a refusal to deal with their grief, a cry for publicity, or just being plain wrong, there is an entire Facebook group dedicated to the notion that Paul Walker’s death was faked.

Fast And Furious 9 ‘Justin Bieber Will Be The New Paul Walker?

According to MoviePilot, Bieber might be the new replacement for Walker’s character Brian O’ Connor. But, nothing has been announced officially yet. It is also rumored that Bieber will either be the new companion of Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto or will serve as partner to Lucas Black’s character Sean Boswell.

Bieber and Black reportedly will be the new partners like Walker and Diesel in the “Fast and Furious” franchise.
Additionally, actress Cara Delevingne of “Paper Towns” will also be joining “Fast and Furious 9.” It is speculated that Bieber and Delevingne might team up as friends of Toretto.
It is still debated if Walker’s character Brian O’ Connor will be brought back to life with CGI technique. However, NBC Universal’s Chairman Ron Meyer revealed to MSN in the past that Walker will be serving as a memory only. It is possible that a memoir can be used to bring back the beloved character of Eva Mendes, Monica Fuentes.

Meanwhile, Michelle Rodriguez will be seen reprising her role as Letty Toretto in “Fast and Furious 8,” and Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham will be joining. It is not officially announced yet, but “Mad Max: Fury Road” actress Charlize Theron is signed up as the new main villain for the upcoming “Fast and Furious” trilogy.
In addition to the upcoming films, Diesel had announced in the past that spin-offs and prequel movies can be expected from the franchise. Johnson has already showed interest in doing a spin-off movie for his character Hobbs.

This all sounds awesome, but Justin Bieber would have big shoes to fill in replacing Paul Walker.

Jason Statham As Deckard Shaw

Out of all the characters currently running around in the Fast and Furious universe, Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw has arguably experienced the most substantial character arc in the shortest amount of time.

Making his debut in the final moments of the sixth film (in which he brutally murdered Han), the character went on to play the villain in Furious 7, and then become a reluctant teammate in Fate of the Furious.

Like Hobbs, Shaw is another character who could potentially stick to spinoffs for the foreseeable future. Statham has the box office clout to carry a film on his own (particularly if he’s alongside someone as big as The Rock), but he’s also a solid ensemble player who could fit in nicely with the main Fast crew.

We do not know which films we will see him in, but he is going to play a significant role in this franchise moving forward.

Why Fast & Furious is going from screen to stage

Your average Friday night probably doesn’t involve high-speed car chases, a submarine explosion and a fuel tanker catching on fire.

We hope not, anyway.

But that’s exactly what fans of Fast & Furious are expecting when the first ever live incarnation of the franchise premieres in London later.

The live show is an extension of the film series – but rather than being a recreation or continuation of the timeline of the films, it takes on a whole new narrative.

“We have new characters that you meet at the beginning, and they have their own new storyline,” explains creative director and executive producer Rowland French.

“So we’ve been able to dig into the world of Fast & Furious, and it’s a journey that takes you through all of these massive moments from different parts of the movie.”

The show recreates some of the most daring stunts from across the eight films, which have taken more than $5bn (£3.6bn) at the global box office since 2001.

French, a former producer at the BBC, says he got the idea for a live version of Fast & Furious while working on Top Gear Live.

“I wrote Fast & Furious Live, storyboarded it, and took it to the US, and pitched it to the licensing team, and they asked me to pitch it to their bosses, and it just kind of rolled from there,” he explains.

“Then I found myself in front of the board of Universal Pictures, so it wasn’t something they were necessarily looking for, I just believed it would be an amazing show.”

Why is Fast & Furious so popular?

Film critic Rhianna Dhillon told BBC News the success of the Fast & Furious franchise is down to its “universal appeal”.

“They’re films people of all ages can enjoy, because they have that pure, unadulterated escapism about them, children and adults alike are quite happy to watch things get blown up and smashed up,” she said.

“A lot of what drags movies like The Avengers down is the plot, and Fast & Furious isn’t trying to compete with those heavy, convoluted storylines. This is just cars smashing into each other and it’s okay to enjoy that.

“This franchise isn’t trying to be anything it’s not. Ultimately, from the bottom up, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.”

Because it’s taken four years to pull together, the production of the live show quite literally couldn’t keep up with the movies.

French remembers: “[The producers] flew me over to America and said ‘Look, we’re going to show you a really early cut of Furious 7 because we want you to put it in the show.

“Then I came back to London, wrote a scene for 7. And then just because of the way the process works, the show still hadn’t been built when the eighth film came out.”

He was soon back on a plane to the US and shown a cut of The Fate of the Furious – and a certain scene involving a submarine caught his attention.

“I said, ‘You’ve got a submarine in the final act that breaks through the ice and smashes through cars, we’ve got to do that’,” he laughs.

It sounds like just the kind of show a health and safety department might be a bit anxious about.

But, French says: “The great thing is the majority of the team are all ex-Top Gear Live. They have such a wealth of experience. And that was a hugely safe show but also had a lot of danger in it.

“So we’ve become very good over the years at making something look incredibly dangerous and giving the audience that shot of adrenaline, but it’s all safe.”

Arguably, one risk of bringing a huge brand from the screen to the stage is that fans end up disappointed that the stunts in real life don’t look as daring as they do on film.

But, French says the lack of CGI and special effects means that the real thing is actually more exhilarating.

“I spent seven years on the side of the race track in the pouring rain watching cars go past me when I was working on Top Gear,” he says.

“Seeing things happen live, especially with cars, there’s something visceral when you can actually feel and see a car.

He adds: “My pitch [to Universal] was you’ll never really connect with the fans until you show them it in real life.

“The stunts are absolutely on the edge of what’s possible within an arena show. And some of these stunts will be the first time they’ve ever been done.

“For example, the fuel tanker in Fast & Furious 4 is a CGI fuel tanker, but ours isn’t, ours is real, and our driver really drives underneath it.”

If the tour is well received by fans, it could give the brand a new lease of life once the 10th and apparently final film is released in 2021.

“As a fan, I hope the Fast & Furious films go on forever,” French says.

“But Fast & Furious live will have its own separate life span, it’s like the greatest hits album, so hopefully it will always be relevant in its own way.”

Fast & Furious Live premieres at the O2 on Friday evening before touring Europe.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

Magicians and illusionists work in incredibly intricate ways to make the spectator believe what they are seeing is really happening. Many tricks that have propelled practitioners into fame include:

Dismemberment,Body manipulation,Levitation.

These seemingly otherworldly stunts have convinced many that these practitioners possess supernatural capabilities. However, there’s a logical explanation behind every magic trick that the illusionist does their best to conceal.

Many magicians resort to levitation tricks, which are often a combination of the Balducci technique, clever editing and sometimes even wires. However, Criss Angel revealed his innovative technique.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

Angel, facing away from his audience, would have a slip in his pants so that he could remove one leg and use it to prop himself up. This act of balancing in combination with his two legs appearing together create the illusion of levitation.

Earning a spot on TV’s 50 Greatest Magic Tricks, Penn and Teller had one shocking illusion where Penn ran over Teller with an 18-wheel truck. Appearing painfully real, the magicians revealed how they did the trick themselves.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

While it looked like the wheels were running over Teller, there was only minimal weight being applied. The opposite side of the truck was weighted to counterbalance the vehicle and foam tires were attached instead of rubber ones.

Criss Angel once created the illusion that he was walking on water, which was made even more convincing by the people swimming underneath him, his theatrics, and even dropping his shoe at one point into the water below.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

However, this trick was done by using plexiglass structures resembling tables. These structures go unseen under the water and allow movement below them to sell the notion that Angel is walking on the surface of the water.

4. Acclaimed magician David Copperfield had spectators in awe for his famous “Death Saw” trick, which saw him being cut in half by a saw without the typical shield of a box.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

However, while Copperfield’s updated version of the trick looks more convincing, it still uses the same act of deception. The platform, though appearing thin, has just enough room for Copperfield and an assistant to crouch and hide half of their bodies.

One classic trick that plays with the audience’s perception is the illusion of making an assistant float in mid-air, which is made more convincing by passing a hoop over to show that there’s nothing supporting from beneath or above.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

However, the platform has been intricately created to make this trick appear real. A motorized mechanism lifts and lowers the assistant. The machinery is hidden by the magician’s body and controlled by hidden step switches in the carpeting. The hoop is passed through an S-shaped support, which requires the practitioner to do it twice to free it.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

David Blaine’s grotesque trick where he sticks a needle through his arm isn’t so much an illusion because it’s what he’s actually doing. However, how he manages for there to be no blood explains his extreme dedication to the craft.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

The performance is possible due to a medical phenomenon called fistula, which is a path of scar tissue that can be pierced without blood or damage. Blaine must have achieved this fistula by actually stabbing his arm in order to create a scar tissue path.

On America’s Got Talent, Matt Franco wowed judges by having them each choose a section of a snowman and telling him when to stop flipping a pad of supposedly different designs. After they had created a seemingly unique snowman, Franco revealed a real one in a box, which was an exact replica.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

How Franco achieved this was by flipping a section of the options that were really all the same. He initially showed varying designs while introducing the trick, but those were only the last few pages, which were too far behind to be an option for the judges to choose from.

Houdini had a trick where he magically made a fishbowl appear on a table after quickly shielding it with an innocuous cloth. The cloth, however, was more of a distraction from what’s actually happening with the table.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

The fishbowl is really there the whole time, but is covered by a drawstring encasing, which the magician removes. A separate identical drawstring table cover is then released beneath the fishbowl.

One trick that often boggles the minds of spectators is when a magician makes one of his assistants disappear behind a curtain. This is made more convincing by using a box propped up on four legs to show there’s no trap door.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

The box appears to have nowhere the hide, but in this case, the curtain is cleverly placed to make it look wider than it actually is. The magician buys time by doing things like spinning the box while the assistant inside rearranges themselves out of sight.

Having a sword pass through an assistant is a classic illusion that makes the audience believe they are being impaled.

10 Biggest Magic Secrets and Illusions Revealed!

However, this trick is achieved by costuming and a sword that’s flexible yet sturdy much like measuring tape.

Guardians of the Galaxy’s Vin Diesel lands new superhero role for a Bloodshot movie

Playing Groot and Groot’s son in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies just isn’t satisfying Vin Diesel’s superhero sweet spot these days.

We’re not sure if Vin is simply looking for more to do than say “I am Groot” with different inflections, but the Hollywood mega-star is reuniting with Fast and the Furious producer Neal H. Moritz to adapt one of the most memorable characters from Valiant Comics.

According to Deadline, Vin will be playing Bloodshot, a super soldier-turned-living weapon who is brought back from the dead by the shady corporation known as Rising Spirit Technologies.

With no memory of his former life, Bloodshot struggles to regain his humanity as he embarks on a mission of vengeance of those who caused his death.

The Bloodshot character first appeared in Valiant Comics’ Eternal Warrior title in 1992, and was previously going to be played in a shelved movie by Jared Leto.

Vin Diesel and Neal H. Moritz will be collaborating on the project with executive producers Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman: The Golden Circle) and Dan Mintz (Iron Man 3), with Dave Wilson making his directorial debut.

Despite this new Bloodshot role, Vin Diesel will also be reprising his role as Groot Jr. in Avengers: Infinity War next month, as well as Avengers 4 and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in the years ahead.
